Sharon Freedman is an actor, producer, and International Arts Educator.
Credits include: Chicago Med (NBC), Henry Danger (Nickelodeon), Cold Winter’s Night (Emmy winner) It’s Your Birfday (with Keith David), Ladies Room (official selection of Slamdance) and The Ski Trip (LOGO Network). She has performed at such theaters as The Ensemble Studio Theater (NY & LA), The Kirk at Theater Row, The Shakespeare Theater of NJ, The Victory Theater, The Hangar Theatre, Sacred Fools and has appeared in numerous commercials, industrials, and voiceovers for everything from A & E to Volkswagen.
She was the Co-Creator and Company Manager of the play development organization The 24Seven Lab in NY for 7 years where she develop work by writers including: Pulitzer winner Annie Baker, Tony nominee Lucas Hnath, Lucille Lortel winner Sam Hunter, WGA award nominee Ron Fitzgerald, and Emmy nominee Cusi Cram.
She’s taught playwriting and acting with The B.R.I.D.G.E Theatre Project to youth Internationally and in California.
She is a member of the Obie Award winning theater company Partial Comfort Productions (NY), Ovation winning Ensemble Studio Theatre/LA and an Associate member of Sacred Fools. She was the Co-Creator and Exec. Producer of PCP’s Battle of the Bards.
She had no idea that the idea she and her dear friend Kim Kressal discussed at a holiday party would turn into this incredible project, OTHER.
She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Playwrights Horizons Theatre School.
